Shirley Lee joins Imagination Shanghai as General Manager

We’re pleased to announce Shirley Lee has joined Imagination Shanghai as General Manager. Reporting to Imagination China’s Managing Director, Julien Dupuis, and will be responsible for shaping the company culture of Independent Creativity, attracting and retaining the very best talent to create world-class experiences for clients.

Shirley joins Imagination from Freeman Beijing, where she was General Manager responsible for fueling business growth through new business opportunities and restructuring to develop culture. She has over 20 years’ wealth of experience in creating brand experiences across Asia Pacific, Greater China and internationally for some of the world's most well-known brands. Shirley built her career at the creative brand experience agency Jack Morton as SVP and comes with hands-on experience in management roles building up stable partnerships with key clients, tackling operational issues and promoting a culture of creative boldness with delivery rigour.

This appointment is part of Imagination Shanghai’s ambitious growth strategy, Shirley will support the senior management team to drive transformation and operational excellence across all areas of the business - evolving offers and go to market strategies.

Shirley’s hire follows an incredibly successful 2021 for the agency, winning a Bronze award at the Campaign Agency of the Year Awards, in the Greater China Brand Experience Agency category and recognition at the Ford's annual World Excellence Awards for work with Lincoln.
