Chelsey Raysbrook Campaign Creative Faces to Watch

We are very proud to say that Project Manager, Chelsey Raysbrook, has been spotlighted by Campaign Middle East Magazine as one of its 'creative faces to watch' for 2021. Below, General Manger Elisabeth Anne explains why Chelsey has excelled this past year.

Chelsey joined us to deliver a high-profile project for an important government client in the region. In a tough year where we had to adjust firstly to working from home but more importantly keeping our creative standards consistent despite being unable to collaborate in person, Chelsey adapted her working style and ended the year leading our virtual event work. Chelsey is as comfortable speaking to senior clients as she is getting hands-on on-site. She is immensely creative and hard working. Chelsey is a hybrid talent who is the epitome of the future proof skill set needed in the post-covid world.

A bit about Chelsey

Chelsey Raysbrook is an international project specialist, sports enthusiast and travel buff with over eight years of experience in the UK, EU, Australia and the UAE in live productions and events.

As a Project Manager for Imagination since 2020, I began delivering in KSA for an important government client in the region before returning to Dubai where I worked across multiple business development opportunities, a virtual event production series and creative production for an HNW client as part of their MENA tour. Before I became an Imagineer, my career spanned across a diverse spectrum of global shows, festivals, live broadcasts, brand activations and events including ‘Amazon Prime Launch’, ‘‘The Pope Holy Mass’, ‘Special Olympics World Games’, ‘Wireless Festival’, ‘BBC Children In Need’ and many more which followed after my earlier years in sales, marketing and venue management.

Her guiding principles

  • Passion is at my core. Energy, enthusiasm and a strong desire to live life to the full gives me drive and determination to exceed limitations and expectations.

  • Resilience, I don’t always know how to overcome every challenge, but I trust myself to eventually master them.

  • Excellence. Commitment to continuous improvement. I have a high standard in my professional and personal life and always look for self-development holistically.

How has Covid changed her job?

Pre-pandemic my role was very operational and being physically present was critical on and off-site. Although initially isolated, we had to think differently about workflow and online events. The pandemic created an opportunity for collaboration with global teams, development of online teamwork efficiencies, remote business development skills pitching and presenting whilst learning the intricacies of production and management for virtual experiences.

The side hustle

All passion projects can become opportunities. For me, this included mentoring students, advancing festivals, online blogging and content management. In 2020 I also began football coaching, driving a ladies football initiative and presenting for ZeroGravity, Dubai. Recently, I have been developing an online fitness business concept and optimising remote training. #watchthisspace
