Wes Richardson and Nick Blenkarne are judging UK Cannes Young Lions

Associate Creative Director, Wesley Richardson and Creative Strategy Director, Nick Blenkarne, are on this year's jury for the UK Cannes Young Lions competitions. Wes will be judging the Print and Design competition categories, whilst Nick will be judging Digital.

Cannes Young Lions looks to find the very best young creative talent to compete on behalf of the UK at Cannes Lions against other young advertising professionals from around the world. Taking place live in Cannes, the next generation of young creatives go head-to-head, with competitions to suit people from every corner of the communications industry.

Cannes Lions brings the world's biggest brands and most creative people together at a unique event to learn, network and celebrate the power and effectiveness of creativity.

Cannes Lions Festival 2020 will now take place from 26 – 30 October.

As ACD at Imagination, Wesley is responsible for the branding and creative direction of experiences for some of the world's biggest brands. Based in our London HQ, he works across sectors for brands including Major League Baseball, Visa, Shell and Ikea.

Wesley has played a key role in delivering award-winning brand and experience-led projects across Imagination’s clients – from defining and implementing global visual identity systems to setting compelling graphic and digital direction for experiences.

As Strategy Director, Nick is responsible for laying the strategic and creative foundation for inspiring experiences. Nick works symbiotically with creative and project delivery teams, delivering bespoke approaches for brand experiences across different marketing communications channels, in particular digital and ensures that strategy and techniques are properly integrated into the broader channel mix, from live experiences through to online, physical/digital and social, content and communications strategy, mobile and branded content. More broadly, he supports the growth and development of the global Shell business, nurturing new business opportunities that range from brand strategy to digital content development.
