Our Land Rover Defender VR experience is a finalist in the VR Marketing of the Year award category at the VR Awards!
The VR Awards is at the centre of recognition and celebration of outstanding achievement in virtual reality. Judges look towards marketing campaigns that integrate VR within the majority of the project. Particular focus is placed on the originality and creativity behind each marketing campaign. Results are announced on the 12th of November.
Our adrenaline-fuelled virtual reality experience opened at the Frankfurt Motor Show to mark the launch of the new Land Rover Defender. It enables users to travel to the far reaches of the globe and train as an aerial photographer on Land Rover’s ‘Special Operations’ media team, where they compete with other users to capture the perfect photo of the SUV in action as it navigates testing terrain.
The experience uses Oculus headsets powered by gaming engine Unreal, all synced to 4D elements, including a motion platform to totally immerse the user.
