We’re pleased to share that Jennifer Grace has been named as Executive Director of Imagination Detroit, tasking her with leading one of the agency’s most high-profile client relationships while expanding its creative footprint across North America. She takes on the role immediately, joining Imagination’s Global Management Team, and will report to Alistair Wilson, Managing Director, Imagination Australia.

The move places Jennifer in charge of Imagination’s long-standing partnership with Ford Motor Company while also signalling a broader ambition to bring Imagination’s experience-led approach to a wider mix of brands, sectors, and cultural moments.

Jennifer has been a key architect of Ford’s recent presence on the global stage, leading work that blends storytelling and strategic intent. That includes the launch of the F-150 Lightning; Capital Markets Day, where brand and business narrative converged; and Ford’s return to Formula 1 through its Red Bull partnership, reintroducing the marque to a new generation of fans.

Across each, the focus has been on creating experiences that don’t just announce change but make audiences feel it.

“Everything we do is about raising the bar, creatively and in how the work shows up in the world,” said Jennifer Grace, Executive Director, Imagination Detroit. “It’s a commitment to pushing ideas further, elevating every output, and refusing to stand still. We’re redefining what Imagination Detroit can be, introducing new influences, culturally relevant work, and ways of thinking that shape what’s next for our studio and our clients.”

Alistair Wilson, who previously led the Detroit business and now heads Imagination Australia, will support Jennifer and her team, strengthening the connection between Detroit and Imagination’s global creative network.

“Jennifer has always understood that the best work doesn’t just show up – it shows up in culture,” said Alistair Wilson, Managing Director, Imagination Australia. “Ford’s return to Formula 1 was one of the most talked-about brand moments in automotive this year, and Jennifer was right at the heart of it. She has a sharp eye for what makes work travel beyond the room it launches in. Imagination Detroit has a seriously talented team, and Jennifer brings the ambition to make sure the work lives up to our name. North America is a huge opportunity for us, and Detroit has a real role to play in that story.”

While Ford remains central, the Detroit studio is increasingly connected to Imagination’s global network, drawing on work with brands including Visa, Bloomberg, and AWS to bring a fresh perspective into the U.S. market. This cross-pollination will play a key role as the agency continues to grow its presence across sectors.

With Jennifer at the helm, the focus is on building a studio that not only delivers standout moments for one of the world’s most iconic automotive brands but also shapes how experience-driven creativity shows up across a wider cultural and commercial landscape.
