Coinciding with the height of the America 250 celebrations, we partnered with Ford to launch Driving America Forward, a free two-week public experience at Union Station in Washington, D.C.

The experience offered a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to walk among some of the most historically and culturally significant vehicles in American history. Right at the doorstep of the nation’s capital.

Ten historic vehicles anchored the main hall of Union Station, curated in museum-style glass displays that span over a century of automotive evolution. Curated into themes including Shaping Pop Culture, American Innovations, and 125 Years of Racing, the exhibition featured rare artefacts from the Ford Heritage Fleet that trace the company’s deep roots in America’s cultural upbringing. Painting a vivid picture of Ford’s societal impact, the items on display highlighted diverse innovations ranging from landmark racing tech to wartime and humanitarian efforts.

Catering to Union Station’s heavy foot traffic, the experience included multiple interactive touchpoints. A unique photo postcard activation invited attendees to pose in front of a large-format ‘Greetings from Union Station’ backdrop before printing a custom, Ford-stamped postcard alongside a shareable digital copy. A massive LED screen functioned as a digital gallery, looking to the future of Ford’s vehicle storytelling. Visitors could also scan QR codes to access bespoke content and deep dive into the vehicles and artefacts on display.

Ford Brand Ambassadors were on-site throughout the exhibition to welcome visitors, share exclusive merchandise, and bring the history to life.

We wanted to build an experience that made people stop and interact. Union Station provided the perfect canvas to creatively showcase not only Ford’s manufacturing innovation across the past century, but also to tell the broader Ford story in shaping the future.
