To support Navan’s initial public offering, Imagination produced a 32-minute roadshow film designed to clearly articulate the power of its integrated platform, AI-driven financial model, and massive market opportunity to investors. Its comprehensive narrative was led by five key executives and nine distinct testimonial voices filmed across San Francisco and New York.

How to differentiate Navan in a crowded T&E market, clearly demonstrate the power of its integrated UI to investors unfamiliar with the product, showcase its foundational AI as a core driver, and compellingly communicate its long-term vision to become the “Amazon of travel.”

THE OUTCOME
A dynamic and authentic narrative
The 32-minute film brought the Navan story to life by weaving together the company’s core strategic pillars. The narrative, led by five key executives, established the ambitious vision for Navan’s future as the “Amazon of travel.”
Our creative strategy centred on making this vision tangible and authentic. To ensure the executive narrative felt dynamic, we employed steadicam for movement, capturing select leaders in “walk and talks” that moved beyond static presentations. This narrative was then powerfully reinforced by nine select partners, strategically curated to include both platform users (travellers) and customers (finance leaders) from diverse industries.
To further validate the platform’s impact, we sprinkled real user reviews throughout the film as a visual transitional device. This combination of executive leadership and partner voices provided authentic, 360-degree proof of the platform’s financial impact and seamless user experience.
A central goal of our creative was to reinforce Navan’s superior UI/UX. We showcased the product in action by integrating a combination of full-screen dashboards and component overlays. We also developed a graphic “search bar” visual as a signature narrative tool that helped transition viewers clearly between topics, while simultaneously providing a constant nod to Navan’s UI and reinforcing the platform’s centrality to the story.

The roadshow film provided a clear, tangible look at Navan’s technology in action, allowing investors to see the seamless UI and understand how the integrated platform creates value.
It clearly demonstrated how AI is a core driver of efficiency and margin, which was connected to the company’s clear “land and expand” model – showcasing the journey from a travel-first tool to a fully integrated T&E and payments platform.
The film put this value into perspective with quantifiable metrics, all while framing the investment rationale against a $185 billion total addressable market.

The film humanised the management team by giving investors a direct, personal connection to the key executives driving the company’s vision and execution.
It acted as a powerful pre-education tool for institutional investors that allowed face-to-face discussions to be more productive. It also served as a primary touchpoint to educate retail investors and financial media, providing essential context on the company’s story.
