About us
We spark the imagination Changing the way people think, feel and act
As Senior People & Culture Advisor, you sit at the intersection of recruitment, people operations, and culture for a client group of approx 50 people across Sydney and Melbourne. The role will be based in Sydney with travel every 3-4 months to the Melbourne office. We’re looking for a partner who uses their expertise to make a creative business run better – someone with a natural ability to connect with people, building trust where people come to you and the self-motivation to make a real difference.
This is a part-time position, structured as a 4-day workweek.
At Imagination, people are our greatest accelerator of creativity, and you are the person who ensures we find, hire, and look after the unique individuals who embody our core beliefs.
Yes, there are contracts, compliance checks, and systems to manage. But the person who thrives in this role is someone who actively gets involved in the agency both locally & globally, having the key conversations that help us build and maintain a world-class team.
You are the ‘people conscience’ of the business, balancing the rigor of Fair Work compliance with the bravery to experiment with how we find and grow talent.

What really matters to us
Imagination believes that diversity, equity and inclusion are more than just words, and more than a legal framework or a moral obligation – they are guiding principles that, when acted upon, make us stronger, more innovative and more creative as an organisation.
We commit to not only significantly increasing our efforts to effect change today, but also to ensure that our efforts will be sustained for the long-term.
To support us on this journey we have appointed a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Board to help shape our plans to bring about positive change, to help us learn and keep us all moving forward together.
We believe the responsibility for a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace ultimately rests with all of us.
We believe that all employees should feel a sense of belonging at Imagination – regardless of their race, religion or belief, gender identity, age, sexual orientation, disability or background.
We believe racism has no place within our workplace or our work culture and we reject all forms of hatred, prejudice, intolerance and discrimination.
We believe that Black Lives Matter and it is our expectation that all employees become actively committed to making unbiased choices and are anti-racist in everything they do. Our Imagination community must share and live these beliefs, as diversity makes us stronger.
Our priority is humanity and our efforts towards a more diverse, more equitable and more inclusive workplace are never done.
If you are not a perfect fit for the description above, please feel free to make a case for why you’re the right person for the job.
Send us a cover letter and state why you think we should consider you.
Talent comes in all forms and we want to encourage applications from as many different backgrounds as possible.
