Overview

The Senior Account Manager role will be the key day-to-day leader on this account and requires at 6+ years of relevant experience in the experiential marketing and/or related fields, including agency or in-house marketing roles. Proven experience with integrated programs featuring solid digital strategies is required.


Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading and managing mid-senior level client relationships by understanding their business goals, objectives, and challenges.
  • Work closely with clients to develop and implement strategic plans and innovative solutions that drive business growth and achieve client objectives.
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to cross-functional teams to ensure that all projects are aligned with client goals and objectives.
  • Manage and mentor Account Managers and junior teams, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure that all client expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring that projects are profitable and that all costs are accounted for.
  • Identify new business opportunities, develop and present proposals to clients, and negotiate contracts.
  • Monitor project performance and provide regular updates to clients and internal teams to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them, escalating to Account Director and Senior Account Director when necessary. 
  • Stay’s up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to provide strategic guidance and recommendations to clients.
  • Independently creates, tracks, monitors and enforced detailed scopes of work for projects.
  • Streamline internal processes and identify areas to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to client inquiries, addressing concerns, and ensuring that clients are satisfied with the level of service provided.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • 7 + years experience working in an agency environment.
  • Has sound experience across multiple channels specifically events, experiential activations, exhibition design, digital, social media, screen content production and marcomms programs.
  • The ability to work on and manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Excellent presentation, communication and client liaison skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with clients, cross-functional teams, and internal stakeholders.
  • Team player, must be flexible, inclusive, positive and helpful.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Leads by behavior and attitude, not through position or tenure.
  • Thinks strategically – knowledge of Imagination and Client practices.
  • Inspires creativity and innovation – imagines creative solutions.
  • Drives results – achieves high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Strong team player, able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders to achieve client objectives.
  • A  leader, able to motivate and inspire their team and cross-functional teams to achieve client objectives.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills to identify potential issues and develop creative solutions to resolve them.
  • Strong relationship-building skills to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, cross-functional teams, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, able to adjust to changing client needs and market conditions.
  • Strong organizational skills, able to manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays on occasion as required by client workload. 
  • Must be able to travel internationally for up to two weeks at a time.
