Overview

As a Junior Production Technology Manager, your chief role is to assist the Production Technology Manager. Your primary duties include aiding in the technical aspects of live events and exhibitions, ensuring the proper maintenance of equipment, and maintaining a meticulous database.

Our primary responsibility is delivering connected experiences across channels to help our clients engage with diverse audiences, external and internal. Our clients look to Imagination for breakthrough experiences, whether auto show exhibitions, global product launches, brand destinations, media presentations, investor events, or training programs. In addition to producing and managing such experiences, we generate the associated experience strategy, messaging, content, and collateral.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in coordinating and planning technical and electrical elements for live events.
  • Help with logistics arrangements for production-related staffing and equipment.
  • Support Creative teams in developing solutions for live events.
  • Assist in scheduling the production process.
  • Help in acquiring quotes from suppliers, partners, and merchants.
  • Research products, components, and services under guidance.
  • Assist in deploying and maintaining complex temporary networks onsite.
  • Help manage and organize AV and technical equipment.
  • Support in analyzing creative direction and recommending solutions.
  • Assist in preparing equipment and elements for the production department.
  • Follow Health and Safety guidelines on all projects.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Some experience with Vectorworks / AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity with PowerPoint / Keynote.
  • Interest in learning Fritzing or another schematic software.
  • Interest in video formats and technical requirements.
  • Willingness to learn basic programming languages like C++ or Python.
  • Hardworking, reliable, and attentive to detail.
  • Team-oriented and an excellent communicator.
  • Calm and approachable persona.
  • Proactive and work with your own initiative.
  • Willingness to travel for short to medium periods (up to 25 days).
  • Flexible and adaptable to new challenges.
  • Willingness to work unsociable hours (including weekends).
  • Desire to contribute to the team.
