Design to Inspire: Audi’s creative journey across China
Imagination reimagined the Design Platform partnership into a stage where design, technology, and creativity converge to ignite a conversation on design, with Audi leading as both enabler and creator.
CHALLENGE
The Audi Design Platform was born from a clear brief: to create a stage that connects Audi with China’s thriving creative community while reinforcing the brand’s leadership in design and innovation.

THE OUTCOME
Philosophy mirrored
Conceived as a series of pop-up showcases across key cities in 2025, including Shanghai, Shenzhen, Beijing & Hangzhou, the platform invited emerging designers and artists to collaborate directly with Audi, producing authentic works that mirror the brand’s philosophy of progress through design.
Stop one: Shanghai
Reimagining The Living Space around the Audi A5L, furniture design and automotive aesthetics merged to explore how design shapes modern life.
THE OUTCOME
Stop two: Shenzhen
At DYDS Studio, digital artists created an AI-driven installation that responded in real time to guest expressions – a poetic take on human-centric innovation.
Stop three: Beijing
Together with Dada, we created the Audi Light Lab – a space that explored the fusion of creativity and technology through personalised light-signature experiences inspired by the Audi Q6L Sportback e-tron.
THE OUTCOME
Stop four: Hangzhou
With Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing complete, anticipation built for Hangzhou – the final expression of the 2025 series – where innovation and emotion met to shape the future of design.
The power of experience design
Imagination played a pivotal role in shaping this journey: from crafting the strategic and creative framework, to curating artist partnerships, designing the immersive spaces, producing and managing live events, and capturing content for global and localised social channels.
Our multidisciplinary team ensured each stop was technically flawless and creatively inspired, adding another chapter in our shared pursuit of crafting experiences that inspire, connect, and move people through the power of design.
