This September, Imagination partnered with Ford to celebrate a true icon of British business: the Ford Transit. Marking 60 years of continuous production, the Transit Festival paid tribute to the vehicles, the small businesses, and the communities that have made the Transit a trusted companion for generations.
The highlight of the festival was nothing short of historic. A convoy of 201 Transits from across the UK came together to set a new GUINNESS WORLD RECORDSTM title for the Largest Parade of Vans. From the earliest petrol-powered models to the latest E-Transit and Transit Custom PHEV, the parade showcased the incredible versatility and enduring appeal of the Transit.

Held at Chelmsford City Racecourse on Saturday 20th September 2025, the first-ever Transit Festival was designed for everyone – from small business owners to families. Attendees were treated to:
- Workshops and panels: Insightful sessions covering business essentials, social media, and workplace wellbeing, hosted by Mike Brewer and Jodie Kidd.
- Live entertainment and giveaways: Music from Tom Walker, DJ AG, and other various artists, with continuous surprises throughout the day.
- Transit showcase: A stunning lineup of Transits, from vintage classics to the latest electric models, including opportunities for hands-on test drives.
- Family fun: Competitions and activities designed for all ages.

The festival also offered small business owners practical tips for maximising vehicle productivity, tackling common challenges like tool theft, and leveraging social media to grow their enterprises.
The Transit Festival was a celebration of community, ingenuity, and a shared love for a vehicle that has helped shape British business for six decades. With record-breaking achievements, inspiring workshops, and a showcase of both history and innovation, the festival demonstrated that the Ford Transit is much more than a van; it’s a lifestyle choice.
