Telstra Vantage™ is a major business event for Telstra’s customers and partners. Imagination has collaborated with Telstra to produce a program that truly demonstrates and proves Telstra’s role as a world-class technology company.


CHALLENGE

Telstra Vantage™ is a unique program of ideas, technology and experiences held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre each September. Bringing together the brightest minds, incredible technology, inspirational stories and unparalleled networking opportunities with some of the world’s most influential organisations, the primary objective of Telstra Vantage™ is to give customers a personalised experience that’s designed to help them solve their main business challenges.

A better business experience

Telstra’s brand is all about balancing human experiences and the magic of technology with a dash of practicality thrown in. Since 2014, we’ve been challenged to curate a signature interactive experience, building on our previous years’ designs, that immerses people in the Telstra brand and continues to showcase better ways to empower everyone, including customers, to thrive in a connected world. Every detail of every touchpoint – digital, social, experimental, graphic, environmental and staging, coupled with our commitment to innovation – is designed to reflect this.

Shaping Tomorrow, Together

Each year, we’ve transformed the customer experience at Telstra Vantage™ into a place where Telstra, its customers and partners can help shape tomorrow, together. Now in our sixth year of delivering this exceptional event to over 7,000 attendees, we needed to find new, engaging ways to bring the power of Telstra’s network to life in a dynamic showcase that helps drive new business.

Telstra at the heart

To ensure visitors truly understood Telstra’s capabilities and how the brand could enhance their business, we felt it was important to provide immersive, interactive experiences that would inform, inspire and excite them. Annually, we’ve created large-scale experiences incorporating an engaging digital comms program, main stage keynote speakers and an expo for interactive partner showcases, all with Telstra World at the heart of the event.

Imagination’s always been more than an agency or event partner. From the day Telstra Vantage was founded, to the raging success of 2019’s program, Imagination’s been there every step of the way with us. The success of Telstra Vantage comes down to Telstra and Imagination being one team with a common purpose – to create the best experience possible for our customers and partners. Once again in 2019 Imagination has pushed Vantage strategically and creatively, and just as importantly, has delivered a seamless event programme that continues to move the dial. We’re proud to have Imagination as an extension of our team.

For the audience

Spectators were treated to a visually spectacular event and tuned in in their millions. The event was the most watched live TV show in ABC history.

For the brand

The Royal Navy wanted this to be a widely seen and celebrated event, with over 1.7 million spectators around Sydney Harbour and 2.8 million views on Youtube the experience certainly delivered on this.
