AgriFutures evokeAG is a leading global agrifood technology and innovation event that unites the agrifood innovation community across Asia Pacific and around the world.
We were proud to partner with AgriFutures for the first time, to help them deliver evokeAG 2025, the fifth annual showcase of forward-thinking ideas, innovation, and technologies future-proofing the agrifood sector, held at Brisbane’s Convention and Exhibition Centre on 18-19 February 2025.
evokeAG is a highly successful event programme that consistently delivers value to the world of agrifood innovation. We were not required to change this popular event, but rather to elevate it, in terms of the guest experience.
AgriFutures sought an impactful and versatile event theme for evokeAG 2025 that would resonate with the agrifood innovation community and ensure a consistent event delivery.
Working closely with AgriFutures, we developed “Common Ground” as an overarching theme and visual identity. This theme emphasised collaboration and finding shared solutions for the future of the agrifood sector. The theme’s magenta based colour palette was influenced by Queensland’s national floral emblem, the Cooktown Orchid.
“Common Ground” was successfully integrated throughout the event from registration to plenary and breakouts, and the exhibition floor (aptly named ‘The Common’).
Guests were greeted by a supersized photo opportunity upon their arrival at the exhibition hall. Rich magenta walkways navigated them through the various zones within the experience, with all paths leading to the evokeAG central feature where stories of Queensland agrifood innovation could be discovered. Over sixty stands were spread across the space, from Platinum Partner, Elders and Host State Partner, Queensland Government, through to startups, scaleups and sponsors.
The close of Day One saw a breakout space transform to reveal the Festival of Food – a surprise and delight networking experience showcasing the best of Queensland food and the local producers behind it. This came to life as a playful and exploratory showcase that promotes interaction and conversation.
Over 2,000 guests spent two days engaging in inspirational ideas, breakthrough innovations, and powerful connections that will shape the future of our agriculture industry.
Every one of the brilliant speakers, partners, innovators, and delegates who attended in Brisbane, contributed to being part of this transformative experience.
From thought-provoking panels to industry-changing conversations, attendees were inspired by the incredible minds shaping the future of agrifood tech.
As the event drew to a close, delegates weren’t just wrapping up conversations – they were catalysing change.
evokeAG 2025: What a mammoth two days. The evokeAG team, AgriFutures Australia team, and Imagination team delivered something special this year. It’s hard to put into words, but hearing from delegates that we nailed it and got it right makes every moment worth it.
