Exploring the Future with Michael Bloomberg in New York
Last week our team delivered Designing Our Future, a Department for International Trade (DIT) flagship event. We created the overall experience design and visual language for the three-day event which invited attendees from various industries to explore innovations and ideas that will Design Our Future.
The challenge initially given to Imagination was to create an environment showcasing leading innovations to facilitate discussions among thought leaders, influencers, entrepreneurs and key decision-makers. Our New York team led by Client Services Director Guy Stevenson designed an integrated space to open up conversations, as featured in our recent news story.
The event was opened by Michael Bloomberg highlighting the transatlantic collaboration in tackling some of the most prevalent challenges of our time.
Lume Co-Founder Alex Kitching and Imagination’s Immersive Studio Business Director Rory Byrne also attended the dynamic business event, giving audiences the opportunity of interacting with a new, innovative platform: LUME, which we shared more about here. One of the many who came to discover the VR platform for the first time, included Michael Bloomberg (pictured with Rory and Alex).
There was a delightful plethora of influencers driving insightful discussions throughout the event, including Harper’s Bazaar Editor-in-Chief Dame Glenda Bailey, Coach Executive Creative Director Stuar tVevers, the distinguished horologist Dr.Roger Smith and Framestore Co-Founder Mike McGee.
