In February’s issue of The Drum, our Managing Director for China, John Steere, shares key insights on the region’s unique opportunities. With an immensely fast paced tech sector, China is not only the most populous country in the world but given its mature e-commerce market, brands face unmatched challenges.

In the article, John Steere says young millennial Chinese are ripe for disruption because of the affordability of technology: “The evolution of their consumer habits is continuing to the point where, I think, they’ve now crossed off all the basics that other countries are still experiencing. In China, consumers are now past the ‘badge factor’ of wearing Louis Vuitton. It’s now generally about the experience.”
