Interim Junior Logistics Manager

Our Coventry office is recruiting for an Interim Junior Logistics Manager for our innovative automotive clients. This is a one-year fixed term contract.

Reporting into the Senior Logistics Manager, this role will be integral to delivering a programme of work for the client and will support the team on a diverse range of projects, from full support on high-profile retailer training and long service events down to purely financial support of smaller events. The role will have a client facing element so effective relationship building is a key requirement.

You’ll be responsible for responding to client briefs with project summary documents and will support all aspects of event execution including supplier and third-party management in developing timelines and delivering project detail. You’ll ensure budgets and timeframes are adhered to and that all documentation and project filing is complete.

You’ll need to have strong financial awareness and commercial skills and have experience in consolidating project costs and budgetary control. You’ll also be required to support with on-site ‘hands on’ event delivery.

You’ll have first-hand knowledge of the events and exhibitions industry particularly launches, incentive travel and sponsorship and experience of delegate management systems. You’ll have excellent communication skills, will be motivated, flexible and a team player. You’ll also need to be well organised with excellent attention to detail and strong MS Office skills. Fluency in additional European Languages would be advantageous. You’ll need a willingness to sometimes work unsociable hours and be open to longer periods of overseas travel.
