Health & Safety Manager

Imagination is in search of a hands-on Health and Safety Manager to join our team of experienced professionals. This role is all about partnering with your team and having full ownership of all things health and safety. This is for a true generalist, excited for working in the events industry and who thrives on delivering end to end health and safety management with a huge focus on relationship building and supporting your team.
Reporting to the Group Head of Health and Safety and with a dotted line to the Global Production Director, you’ll have a hands-on approach, and will be able to work very closely with the Client, Production & Support Service Teams at Imagination, so no day will ever be the same.
Working with your team from the outset you’ll be setting the direction to develop an end to end health and safety program which fits a dynamic and fast-paced schedule supporting a wide range of global events and programs. You will need to have the ability to work with all levels of the business, from being on site to working closely with senior managers.
This role is a unique mix of hands-on coaching and advising managers on all things health and safety, risk assessment, incident and injury management, training and delivery of initiatives/projects. Along with actively contributing to the Group-wide health and safety program.
You’ll have strong health and safety experience within the events industry. Previous experience within a management role would be advantageous along with the experience of working with international events. You’ll ideally be educated to degree level or have an equivalent level of experience and will hold a NEBOSH diploma qualification or equivalent.
You’ll be an excellent communicator with strong influencing and relationship building skills. Proven experience in systems is also required. International travel will be required in this role for periods of up to three weeks so an ability to travel is also required.
