We have a brilliant opportunity for a Content Strategist to join one of our client teams at Imagination. The Content Strategist will be a natural storyteller with the ability to understand a client’s business and market, distil information, apply insight and tell a story via a creative idea. Critical to this will be demonstrating its strategic value in helping to further the client’s brand or addressing communication challenges they have set us. Part of the role will also include initiating and contributing to thought pieces, white papers and attending / speaking at relevant industry events with the Creative Director.
You will be a key member of the team and will help shape and influence progressive and engaging content and experiences for our clients with responsibility for writing core threads to stories. We are therefore seeking someone with strong writing skills and a pragmatic, hands on approach. Variety will be your daily routine. You will be a platform-agnostic, conceptual thinker but storytelling of all types and topics is your key passion. You will be working with consumer brands launching products one minute, then the next with industrials helping to craft their innovation story. You will also be involved in the pitch process.
You’ll need previous experience in a similar role and experience of producing content narratives for multi-channel communications projects. You’ll have a strategic understanding of brands and marketing communications including emerging media, influencer and social media marketing along with an understanding of customer experience design and UX. A strategic or journalism background is preferable but not essential. There will be travel required in the role so a willingness to travel is also required.
