Account Executive

We are recruiting for an Account Executive to join one of our most successful client teams at Imagination on a fixed term contract for 1 year. We’ve been working with this client for over 3 decades as a long-standing and collaborative partnership delivering experiential campaigns, autoshow exhibitions, product launches and media presentations.

In this role, you will be working for Imagination, but will be predominantly based client side. The role will likely be split across several locations; Imagination, another London agency and Ford's office in Warley, Essex. This role will demand absolute discretion and respect for confidentiality. The successful person must be able to manage the duality of the role, by delivering excellence for the client and living the Imagination values without compromise.

You’ll be supporting the marketing team on a diverse range of consumer facing experiential projects including sponsorship / partnership activity & auto shows & events. You’ll attend internal and supplier meetings and provide accurate and timely contact reports. You’ll be responsible for producing clear, concise and accurate event documentation, liaise with suppliers and ensure schedules, and budgets are adhered to.

We’re looking for a client-servicing star who is excellent at building strong relationships and able to support projects from initial proposal stage through to execution and reconciliation. You’ll need prior project management experience and/or administrative experience, preferably in an agency environment, and working on a range of projects. Experience in Sponsorship/Partnership and automotive knowledge is desirable but not essential. You’ll be a pro-active, motivated and flexible team worker with excellent organisation and communication skills. A willingness to travel is essential as there will be travel involved, sometimes international and sometimes at short notice.
