About the role

Imagination is seeking an experienced account manager to join our client service team. The role will support the Business Director to deliver a variety of project types from permanent brand destination, digital experience to traditional events and you will be involved in the full working process of creative briefing, ideation, strategy, content and experience delivery. You will be engaging with our clients covering lifestyle and automotive industries.

As part of the project team, you will inspire our Creative, Account and Production teams to get involved, expand their repertoire and discover new ways to create and deliver these experiences, blurring the lines between us all. In the meantime, you will need to ensure the projects remain on track, on budget, and exceed client expectations. We are looking for talent with experience in different types of projects, willing to keep your eyes open and accept new challenges.

You will work closely with our Business Director throughout the project life cycle but are also expected to work independently, building your own key client relationships, and driving business growth for Imagination.

Key responsibilities

  • Day to day client facing role for client communication
  • Write effective and compelling project briefs and client contact report
  • Doing required desktop research and support contributing in client presentations and proposals
  • Maintain positive client relationships and seek further business opportunities
  • Brief and manage internal teams to ensure projects are on track and exceeding client expectations
  • Manage project budgets from initial brief through delivery and on to final client reconciliation
  • Responsible for project planning, ensuring client sign off for purchase orders and delivery of projects, taking participative approach as required
  • Fulfilling the role in compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Be a true process champion and support best practices implementation proactively
  • Ability to develop relationships between account management team, other Imagination resource
    teams and third party suppliers
  • Support development of new business relationships when appropriate

Required skills & experience

  • Bachelor's degree or above
  • 2-3 years of working experience in a client servicing role within relevant industries
  • Native Mandarin speaker with excellent written and spoken English
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred qualifications

  • Ability to work independently and being accountable for individual project
  • A good sense of understanding or experienced in Chinese experience marketing and digital trends
  • Good personality and communication skills which will help to gain client’s trust quickly
  • Good working English language skills and native Mandarin speaker
  • Work under pressure and flexible with business trip requirements
  • Solid knowledge of relevant software packages including all Microsoft Office packages: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ideally also project management tools such as gantt charts, Trello, etc...
  • Good attitude and willing to learn and grow
  • Able to conduct yourself with the highest standard of behaviour and respect for colleagues
  • Leadership experience on event and/or digital project would be a plus
